| WestJet Starts New London Flights to Las Vegas & Cancun July 2011 WestJet Airlines and London International Airport announced today the start of new service from London to Las Vegas and Cancun. The new flights start October 30th using WestJet's next generation Boeing 737 aircraft. Las Vegas flights depart on Thursdays and Sundays and the Cancun flights operate on Saturdays and Wednesdays. "This is fantastic news for our region" said Mike Seabrook, Vice President at London International Airport. "Cancun continues to wear the crown as the most popular winter destination from Canada and we expect these flights to be very popular. For Las Vegas we believe WestJet has really hit a "home run".
